Chase Inns was founded by Paul with over 30 years in hospitality pictured above with Manuel the Operations Director (right). They spent a long time searching for their perfect first pub before taking over The Queens Head in August 2023, then delivering a sympathetic refurbishment bringing the pub back to life has provided a fantastic pub and restaurant loved by many. In 2025 the pub was awarded a much coveted Griffin Award

In November 2024, Chase found their second ‘Proper Pub’ with The Cross Keys in Great Missenden.

Whilst taking on the ‘Elephant and Castle’ is a major project in terms of the work required to bring it up to the standard Chase Inns strives for, it was an easy decision to make with Manuel and his partner Manuela having ran the pub earlier this decade for its previous owner
